| Confirm your entry and get your advertising in the Saddleworth Classified Directory 2008
The NEW printed edition of the Saddleworth Classified Business Directory is being collated ready for printing and distributing later this Spring.
Over 900 businesses in Oldham can list their details freely, and by becoming members of the SBA can have boxed entries in more than one category. New categories have been added to make finding entries even easier, The Directory is distributed to homes and businesses in the Saddleworth area.
A dedicated team of SBA volunteers are verifying all the entries so that they reflect as up to date a picture as possible of the wide diversity of businesses and trades that operate in Saddleworth.
But don't worry if you miss getting in before the printing deadline - the on-line Directory is the master copy of all the Directory and business information and details can be added or changed by clicking on the Directory link.

| Saturday 23rd February 2008 at Saddleworth Golf Club
A successful Saddleworth Business Association Dinner was held on Saturday 23rd February 2008, at Saddleworth Golf Club.
Over 60 members and their guests enjoyed a Five course dinner, an entertaining and informative Guest Speaker Mr Peter Scott from Robert Scott & Sons Ltd, Greenfield, with dancing afterwards with music throughout the evening provided by DJ Paul Sanchez. |

An SBA social evening which started with a tour of the Brewery, and concluded with supper and two beers. Or possibly more may have been purchased through the evening...
A good night enjoyed by all.

| Business Enterprise Exhibition |

| The Oldham Enterprise Exhibition was held 26th 27th April, at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Oldham to provide help, support and inspiration to those who wanted to know more about setting up their own business.
SBA members supported the event by attending the " Speakers Corner" /Coffee Lounge area to chat informally to visitors (and the other businesses) about their own working-for-yourself experiences.
SBA member Michele Hayes of Fish.Net was one of the seminar speakers at the Exhibition, successfully passing on some of her knowledge of setting up and running a business.
